Technology
Greetings,
Wow. It's been a while posting on this blog. Recently, I've been busy promoting my first book on my other blog. It's great to be back. Today I had to send me documents out using what used to be called a "Post Office." Remember those? Me neither. Anyway, before heading out I jumped on the Canada Post website. There I discovered that the online version to Canada's Postal is a great resource to find affordable Apple products in Canada! Who knew? That means when I finally replace this jalopy of a machine I can count on the postal system to purchase, and timely mail me an I Pad! That's pretty efficient.

Speaking of Apple, it was sad to hear of the untimely demise of their founder. Though I have mixed opinions about his labor practices in China he literally revolutionized how technology is perceived and used worldwide. Rest in peace.

Crowd control

With New Year's literally around the corner I've been thinking about crowd control at the various events that will be held -- or rather -- the lack of crowd control. If you're going to a large outdoor event you'll probably be stuck behind barricades meant for vehicles, a club will have you on the wrong side of a velvet rope -- unless you're connected. Lines are drawn and manipulated for these celebrations.

I told myself a while back that if I was not DJing or performing I would enjoy quiet New Years' with loved ones and with this probably my last quiet New Year's for a while I am going to enjoy it. When you're out respect your DJs and performers -- they perform to please you. Have some personal control; don't bug them with silly requests and have fun.

Here's to having as productive a year as I will. Expect news on upcoming projects very soon. Be safe.
